PRP Treatment in Phoenix, AZ
PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma is an innovative, safe, and effective way to eliminate pain without having to undergo surgery. Our team of professionals at EnteBella Medical use PRP because it naturally utilizes the regenerative power of the body.
The process begins by taking a sample of blood and placing it into a centrifuge, which separates the platelets from the plasma. The activated platelets are then injected into the appropriate area, releasing growth factors that increase reparative cells.
This cutting-edge procedure collects the patient’s own platelets and releases them directly into their damaged tissues, resulting in reduced inflammation and encouraging regeneration.
What does PRP treat?
PRP is a non-surgical treatment that can be used to aid the body’s natural healing process for any musculoskeletal problem. Shoulders, back, knees, elbows, and hands are all examples of commonly treated areas.
Avoiding Surgery with PRP
PRP has shown promising results for aiding the body’s natural healing process while helping many people avoid surgeries that could severely interrupt their lives. The process releases growth factors which signal stem cells to regenerate the targeted area. Platelet Rich Plasma has been shown to be highly effective on soft-tissue injuries such as torn rotator cuff, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinitis, and hamstring tears. The experts at EnteBella Medical provide an in depth examination of the injury and clarify the safest and smartest approach for you.
How does PRP therapy work for hair restoration?
PRP for hair restoration starts by drawing the patient’s own blood and processing it into a serum of concentrated growth factors. The serum is then injected into the patient’s scalp, stimulating natural hair growth.
Studies show that PRP may be a safe and effective treatment option for both male and female pattern hair loss. PRP involves no downtime, allowing patients to resume normal activities directly after their treatment.
For optimal results, it is recommended for a patient to undergo multiple treatments, however, some patients may see results after just one. Patients should expect to see a gradual increase in natural hair growth over the course of several months.
