How it Works
In fat transfers, the donor site is usually one that has more fatty tissue, such as the buttocks, lower abdomen, and the thighs. The doctor will numb both the donor site and the recipient site, then proceed to extract the fat from the latter. Before injecting the extracted fat into the recipient site, the doctor will first have to purify the fat to remove any excess liquid. The doctor will repeat this procedure until he or she achieves the desired results.
