STEM CELL THERAPY
Minimally invasive natural repair for the body
What is Stem Cell Therapy?
Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that are able to differentiate into specialized cell types. We are investigating the use of stromal vascular fraction (SVF), which is loaded with adipose derived stem cells to mitigate or prevent a disease or condition. SVF deployments may benefit people with spinal cord injuries, type 1 diabetes, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, heart disease, osteoarthritis, and others.
Benefits of Stem Cell Therapy
- Stem cells provide a natural repair mechanism for many tissues of our bodies.
- We use the patient’s own fat, which makes the process less painful than bone marrow derived stem cells (
- fat also contains 500 to 1000 times more stem cells than bone marrow).
- It is a minimally invasive outpatient procedure which takes a few hours.
How many treatments are recommended?
Most patients, especially those with orthopedic conditions, require only one deployment. Certain types of degenerative conditions, particularly auto-immune diseases, may respond best to a series of stem cell deployments. The number and necessity of any additional treatments would be decided on a case-by-case basis. Financial consideration is given in these instances.
After treatment care
Very minimal aftercare is needed. In most cases, dressings are only needed for 24 hours after treatment and the patient can resume daily activities.
